First 29er and I love riding this bike.  I use it for 60/40 single track/commute and it is a smooth ride.  The cg is great, it has more braking then I've needed, smooth steering input, smooth decisive gear change, and great shock return.  I would only say "replace the seat".  The stock seat sucks and is uncomfortable, unless you like that 'fresh meat in prison feel.'  Overall, if you're looking for a 29er, test this sweet ride and enjoy every bump.
