Kink, Banana, Mag! This is the most visible, functional, snowboard-specific tech on the planet. Matt Cummins has 19 years of skate influenced board design experience. Originally designed by Matt Cummins back in the late 80’s. The idea for this shape was to develop a board that rides well in powder as well as being able to jib rocks, rails, logs, etc. Add Banana Tech and Magne-Traction to the 80’s kink design...Mission Accomplished!
MC KINK: Transition ease. A kinked tail is a tail curve derived from a kink. A smooth mellow entry floats over all obstacles, kink aggressively changes tip angle allowing maximum height to be reached quickly. This allows a shorter, lighter board with an equal tip height. Great for climbing walls or tech switch landings.

When the world’s most progressive and aggressive freestyle team says “It ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” we listen. Well, sort of. For ’09 we made some updates and improvements to this team favorite, because like them, we are never satisfied. The AT’s new 14% glass-filled Nylon Ventilated hiback, has been re-engineered, and mounted with our new Free+ Snaplock for enhanced performance and adjustability. Synchronous Length Adjustment (SLA) means proper adjustment in half the time. You also get superior cushioning from the Cush Pad basepad, and the two EVA-loaded independently-adjustable toe and heel landing pads. The new NXT-AT never looked so good. |
