2012 Blizzard Bodacious Skis Flat:The Bodacious is Blizzard’s all new Big Mountain Ski featuring Flipcore Technology. Like its namesake, the Bodacious is the biggest and baddest in the line, much the same as the retired bull. With Flipcore, the Bodacious has a natural rocker design, a concept conceived by the late Arne Backstrom – this ski re-defines what Freeride skis can do. We are literally turning the Freeride World Upside Down with Flipcore technology. Grab the Bull by the Horns!

Tester Hans Ludwig, for Powder Magazine:
"Arne Backstrom's ride was the sweetest ride I had in Jackson. It skis like a sledgehammer wrapped up in velvet, or a luxury Austrian steamroller. I was none to happy carrying these metal-laden behemoths up the bootpack, but that was all forgiven in turn one. Flat light and variable, but the skis felt like a dead-quiet elevator with no speed limit. Although subtle rocker makes it easy to pivot and dump the heat, there's really no need unless there's a tree or rock in the way, because you can just stand up and erase anything in your path. The Flipcore concept (flat camber, subtle rocker) gives the Bodacious the quick turn and effortless drift I love about rocker skis, without the wheelie effect or getting hung out on a rail in the trees."
